Kelley Ditzel is a dedicated advocate for educational equity and community empowerment, bringing extensive experience in research, policy development, and collaborative leadership to her role on the Students For Change board. Professionally, she serves as CEO of Equitable Impact Solutions, a mission-driven consulting firm that empowers underserved communities through collaborative solutions. Her work centers on utilizing authentic community engagement methodologies to center marginalized voices in decision-making processes and forge strategic partnerships with nonprofit, government, and corporate clients to advance equity initiatives.
Previously, Kelley was a tenured Associate Professor of Public Administration at Georgia College & State University, where she taught undergraduate and graduate courses while directing both the Certified Nonprofit Professional Certificate Program and Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership & Management. Prior to academia, she worked in nonprofits and philanthropy for 15 years at organizations including the Southern Education Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and Junior Achievement of Georgia, where she created programs, led research efforts, and developed strategies to measure impact and drive change.
Kelley received a PhD in Public Policy from a joint program with Georgia State University and the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Political Science from Wake Forest University. Her educational journey also includes classroom teaching through Teach for America and a CORO Fellowship in Public Affairs.
When not engaged in professional pursuits, Kelley enjoys volunteering at her children’s public elementary school. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and finds great fulfillment in contributing to community-based initiatives that advance educational equity and youth development.
